It's been a busy couple days, actually - education wise, that is... finished up that awesome Humanities class (History of Science and Culture) as of yesterday. Submitted the final paper, and waiting for final grade. I enjoyed that class so much!  I love reading of history, in any case, but this particular class awakened my interest in both cultural aspects of science, and the related theological considerations.  I like to think I've learned a bit!
Today, I began another class in Algebra... it's necessary toward the degree, sooooo... I'll give it my best.  (Although, I have to admit, I do find all that study and solving mathematical problems exhausting!)

So, I started a Pinterest page - it's personal (meaning it's my name not my website's) but, I'm wondering how to connect with my FB fan page (https://www.facebook.com/4YourBliss ), as well as my website (http://www.4yourbliss.com/) ... I'm kind of at a loss, there. I do find it - pinning on Pinterest, haha - a bit of fun. I will persevere. I will figure it out. Pretty good about that.

Regarding the website: I've gone through some of the stock that I actually have in my possession - it's only a few pieces of Song of India Temple fragrance oils and incense, as well as a few pieces of Moon Valley Lip Treat and tinned Lotion Bar. These are editions that are no longer available from Moon Valley, but I do have them for sale if one is interested.

Happy July!
What a wonderful beginning to this new month!
So, I'm working on the website, 4 Your Bliss Aroma & Gift Boutique , adding new items and updating existing pages... it takes a lot of work and time to get everything as I want it to be! It is coming along, I'm happy to say!
That said, regarding those updates, this week it's all about those favorite aroma lamps and how they are utilized in aroma therapy practice.

Aroma therapy has been around, documented or not, as long as there has been a human being and a plant or flower of some sort utilized in alleviating whatever pain or ailment suffered from. Methods and use of tools has consisted of the simplest inhalation of a favorite fragrant herb or flower's perfume, to the brewing of teas and making of infusions or poultices, soon followed by the discovery and production of essential oils (from those same herbs or flowers) used along with today's aroma lamps, diffusers, incenses, healing stones, and crystals...  Lighting incense (whether joss stick or cone) or a scented candle fills a room with mood enhancing fragrance.  Use of a diffuser or aroma lamp also fills a room with fragrance, as essential oil droplets permeating the atmosphere and provide healing benefits as one breathes them in.

Although it is deeply therapeutic and beneficial to add those favorites oils to lotions or even straight to the bath, I really enjoy the use of aroma lamps.  Once the essential oils are warmed, relaxing and uplifting fragrance fills the room.   Every aroma lamp comes with a glass (or sometimes ceramic, depending on the lamp) that is where one places the several drops of essential oil.  Remember, to first fill the bowl with water, then add the 6-or so drops of oil to that.  A tea light is placed in the lamp's opening below. When this is lit, the water/oil will begin to warm, releasing the beneficial fragrance.  Just remember: never leave a lit aroma lamp unattended!  Never warm oils for an extended period, as the water will evaporate and the remaining oil in the bowl will burn.  Be safe while enjoying your lamps and oils!
